Hello, it’s me. Laura. A North East-based freelance writer and communications consultant.
Since 2013, I’ve worked with national and international clients in advertising, MarTech, FMCG, property, social impact and beyond, helping them find their voice.
I’ve always been a words person. An “old soul” with a love for all things horror, fantasy, and the slightly odd, I grew up with stories at the centre of everything. That led me to a degree from the University of London, then into journalism, marketing, and finally, copywriting, where all those threads come together.
And while I love words, my business is built around something bigger: making life easier for busy marketing managers and business owners.
That means I:

Outside of work, I’m a mum to two little boys, which means I’ve learnt to write on very little sleep and that there are far too many ways to ruin a banana.
